I was shooting from two locations: First album around 6-7 km mark close to golf course with some Olympic mountains in background, second album is around 16km mark in front of Oak Bay Marina. I recorded video of sunrise - 24 minutes. Now I need to figure out, how to downsample it to 2-3 minutes to achieve effect of time lapse.

Truly amazing place! These pictures are from a small 10 km hike along Sliding Sands Trail in Haleakala National Park. Sliding Sands trail from crater to ocean is in my to-do list!

Triple Peak: ACC VI trip with Mike Springer

Triple Peak with Mike Springer July 18-19, 2009

On sunny weekend of July 18-19, 2009 group of eight summit Triple Peak (30 km north of Ucluelet). It was awesome trip with breathtaking views. Some heavy bushwacking and two bee nests happened there before we get to base camp at lower lake. We summit (1557 m) around 5 pm on July 18.

On Day 2 we took steep gully trail to upper lake and climbed unnamed peak of 1305 m between Triple Peak and Cat Ears.
