Yesterday we went to Botanical Beach. This place is just 120 km from Victoria (close to Port Renfrew).
We caught lowest tidal point of that day (see Fisheries and Oceans Canada web-site to check tides) and were able to see pools with marine life. Unfortunately, we didn't see any starfish there (probably - not right season for them?)
